A&A Produce will Provide Produce for the the Marathon in 2008

For the third year in a row, the Myrtle Beach Marathon will work with local produce company, A&A Produce to supply fruit for the marathon. The marathon needs 6,000 bananas and over 3,000 oranges for the weekend.

Marathon and Half Marathon Training

Training programs for the BI-LO Myrtle Beach Marathon and the Dasani Half Marathon are available.

The Leukemia  and Lymphoma Society of South Carolina has excellent programs for both runners and walkers. Information on LLS training is available online.

The local chapter of the American Red Cross, with the assistance of  the Grand Strand Running Club, is offering Marathon and Half Marathon training programs designed specifically for local Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand runners and walkers.
