Event Registration Limits

The BI-LO Myrtle Beach Marathon has experienced near explosive growth of several events in the past few years. The Board of Directors has become concerned about the impact of this growth on the quality of participant's Marathon weekend experience and on participant safety. For these reasons allowed registration counts have been reduced somewhat for some events.

Registration limits are shown in the table below. Event registration will close when the limit for that event is reached. Exceptions to these limits must go to the Board of Directors for review.

Registration Status

Please be aware that Half Marathons are one of the fastest growing running events today. Many Half Marathons reach pre-established registration limits well before race day.
